Description
This Springfield Armory factory optic mounting plate lets you run a Trijicon RMR- or SRO-footprint red dot directly on a Springfield 1911 DS slide milled for the Agency Optic System (AOS). Machined from billet steel for a rigid, repeatable zero, the plate bolts into the AOS cutout and includes an integrated rear notch sight so you retain a usable backup sighting reference even with an optic mounted. It’s the factory-correct way to add a micro red dot to an AOS-cut Springfield 1911 without gunsmithing.
