Description: Smith & Wesson M&P15 Carbine Handguard. This carbine length handguard set is formed from a durable black polymer with an aluminum heatsink inside and is a Smith & Wesson factory original part. The handguard is designed for the Smith & Wesson M&P15 rifle model chambered in .223 Rem & 5.56x45mm. The handguard comes in two halves that installs over the barrel and protects the user from heat buildup from the barrel. The aluminum shielding inside the handguard helps disperse and mitigate the heat. This handguard is a great component to have in the spare parts chest or to use as a replacement for damaged components.
