The loaded chamber indicator spring is designed for the M&P M2.0 / Shield 9 / 40 and M&P SD9 VE / SD40 VE pistol models from Smith & Wesson chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W respectively. This spring applies pressure the the LCI of the firearm, required in certain states and areas, to allow for proper function of indicator when a round is chambered in the pistol.
