•••••Description: Lancer Systems AR-15 Carbon Fiber Handguard, Octagon w/o Rail, 13″ Rifle Plus Length. This carbon fiber handguard is M-LOK compatible and 14.6″ long. This lightweight hand guard weighs just 10.93 oz. and accepts M-LOK accessory attachments. The cooling slots provided help manage barrel temperature and allow the installation of accessory rails. The LCH5 series handguards also have a provision for a sling swivel stud, allowing a bipod to be attached. The handguard is a free float design comprising of a custom octagon shaped carbon-fiber handguard tube connected to the upper receiver with a 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver extension.

- When using a handguard that extends over the gas block, use of a low profile gas block is required

Note: Free float design installation requires the removal of the rifle’s barrel and specialized knowledge in AR rifle disassembly / assembly. It is recommended that this part be installed by a qualified gunsmith.
