Description: Hornady 12 Gauge 2-3/4″ 300gr. FTX Slug Ammunition, 5 Round Box. This 12 ga. ammunition uses a 300 grain SST Slug. This slug ammo is a good choice for medium game. It has a muzzle velocity of 2000 feet per second and creates 2664 foot-pounds of energy at the muzzle. These Hornady SST shotgun slugs feature Flex Tip technology for superb accuracy. These slugs deliver sub-2″ groups at 100 yards and have a very flat trajectory. Please note: This ammunition is for use in fully rifled barrels only.

Hornady SST Shotgun Slugs feature patented Flex Tip technology. Take the proven performance of Hornady’s super-accurate patented bullet and transform your favorite rifled barrel slug gun into a firearm that outperforms some centerfire rifles. In both 12 gauge and the 20 gauge cartridges, Hornady SST Shotgun Slugs deliver sub-2″ groups at 100 yards and feature the flattest trajectory on the market.

PATENTED FTX BULLET

  • The sharp point increases the ballistic coefficient of the FTX, allowing it to fly faster, farther and on a flatter trajectory. On impact, the Flex Tip initiates expansion at all velocities.

UNMATCHED LONG RANGE ACCURACY

  • The SST Shotgun Slug delivers true 200 yard accuracy and you’ll achieve sub-2″ groups at 100 yards. No other slug gun ammo can come close to the performance of the SST.

HARD-HITTING TERMINAL PERFORMANCE

  • The SST Shotgun Slug packs a target-dropping punch! The 12 GA 300 gr. FTX delivers a crushing 1793 ft/lbs of energy at 100 yards.
