This Guard Dog trauma pad and anti-spall sleeve pair slips over an AR500 steel plate (or ceramic/UHMWPE plate) to add impact-cushioning and catch fragmentation that steel plates can throw off on hit. Each sleeve combines five layers of Kevlar with a 10mm trauma pad, wrapped in a durable 1000D polyester shell. Sold as a two-piece set, it’s an easy add-on for anyone running steel plates who wants to reduce back-face deformation and spall risk.
