Description: Winchester Super-X 308 Win. Subsonic 185gr. Hollow Point Ammunition, 20 Round Box. This ammunition was designed for reliable expansion on game at subsonic velocities. Ideal for using in suppressed firearms for the most noise reduction, subsonic velocities offer lower noise in both suppressed and non-suppressed firearms. Popular among wild boar hunters, this ammunition is also suitable for other thin skinned big game such as deer, antelope, and black bear. This Power-Point Subsonic ammunition is designed for expansion and knock-down at subsonic velocities. It has strategic notching to provide consistent and reliable expansion. A contoured jacket with soft lead core ensures maximum expansion at low velocity. Due to the subsonic nature of this round, this product will not cycle in semi-automatic firearms.
This ammunition has an unsuppressed sound level of 150 dB and a suppressed sound level of 123 dB (these measurements were measured 5 feet from the muzzle and are representative only as actual results may vary).
